Simple Tips on Fertilizing Bonsai

Bonsai is a good decoration of you balcony or veranda. Personally I like to place them on the porch and admire their bright blooming from the window sitting in the kitchen. Well, I will eagerly share the secrets of fertilizing bonsai with you.

I never use fertilizer right after their transplanting or cutting roots. It can cause rotting. I wait for 1,5 – 2 months until a bonsai plant recovers completely.
If you don’t know how to manure your bonsai, I will recommend you to dilute the substance in water. It is better to buy organic fertilizers and bonsai pellets. They are sold in plant shops.

If the tree is weak, don’t manure it, as you will not see any changes for better.
I never perform enrichment in winter because bonsai trees don’t react much in this season.
My golden rule is when I buy a new fertilizer, I always ask a specialist or seller about the peculiarities of its usage. So I advise you to do the same.
