Adenium Socotranum

Adenium Socotranum

My Mom’s first experience in growing adeniums was full of surprises. Somebody had given her a few adenium seeds and she hadn’t even known for sure what flower she was going to grow! Time went by and Mom’s plant grew.

It was really vivid! So she decided to find more information about it. She had adenium socotraum also called Desert Rose. It came from tropical countries and liked warmth and humidity. It is very popular among collectors even though its life cycle is comparably long, and it grows slowly.

Autumn came and leaves of Mom’s adenium fell down. At first she was disappointed, but then understood that her plant went into the state of dormancy because of cold weather. Now Mom knows that the main characteristics of her favorite flower are beauty and love of sun.

If you’ve got adenium seeds, don’t hesitate to plant them. Be sure, this wonderful flower will pleasantly surprise you!
